Deng has a background in Drafting & 3D Design. He is passionate about helping people through financial planning and is currently completing the last few units in his Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning) at the Queensland University of Technology.

Outside of work, Deng enjoys spending time with family and friends.
What’s your favourite thing about being part of the MWS team?

Everyone is so client-focused, and we support each other along the way to achieve the same goal!
What do you wish people knew about financial planning?

The importance of making a financial plan. An ancient proverb says “The plans of the diligent lead to success” and this applies to financial planning. A thorough plan will result in the best outcome and peace of mind.
What's your favourite book, movie and food?

Book: Only Time Will Tell by Jeffery Archer

Movie: Crazy Rich Asians

Food: Curry
If you could give one piece of advice to the Deng from 10 years ago, what would it be?

Enjoy today, one day it will be the “good old days”.
What's your weirdest office habit?

My desk needs to be spotless at the end of each day.
What's the one thing about you that people would be surprised to learn?

I used to have a pet monkey.
If you could have dinner with anyone past or present, who would it be and why?

Muhammad Ali, because he has an incredible mindset!
