Adelaide Financial Planning Without The Compromise

Adelaide has changed quickly. A defence and biotech corridor now runs from Osborne to Adelaide BioMed City. Property markets in Unley, Norwood, Burnside, Prospect and Glenelg have moved at a pace few would have predicted a decade ago. That growth has produced a wave of Adelaide households whose financial situations are more layered than the traditional single-adviser model was set up to handle, equity in share schemes, family trusts, investment property portfolios, business ownership sitting alongside personal wealth.

We work with these Adelaide clients the same way we work with our clients in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast: through a genuinely holistic advice model. That means one adviser coordinating specialists across superannuation, investments, insurance, property, tax, business advisory and lending, not six different providers giving you six different opinions.

Adelaide clients tend to come to us for one of three reasons. They want a specific service that’s hard to find locally at depth, such as SMSF advice with property inside it, debt recycling structured properly from day one, or private wealth advisory for a family business. They want fee-for-service advice rather than product-led sales. Or they’ve been referred by a friend, family member or colleague who’s worked with us somewhere else in the country and want the same experience.

Our advice is authorised under GPS Wealth Ltd (AFSL 254544), and we operate as a Corporate Authorised Representative (CAR 414145). Every plan we build is peer-reviewed by two advisers before it reaches you. Our fees are transparent and published and you can review them before you ever book a meeting. We don’t accept commissions on superannuation or investment products.

How The Advice Process Works For Adelaide Clients

Every Adelaide client follows the same four-step process we use across the country, delivered online, with the flexibility to fit around your schedule and your time zone.
1
Book a complimentary discovery session Your first meeting is a no-cost, no-obligation 90-minute conversation held over secure video. Your adviser will map out where you are now, ask what you want your next five, ten and twenty years to look like, and identify where the meaningful gaps sit. You'll finish the call knowing exactly what advice we'd recommend, how it would be delivered, and what it would cost. Nothing is committed until you say so.
2
Your plan is designed and stress-tested If you decide to proceed, our advice team gets to work. Research is completed, projections are modelled, and your full plan is drafted. Before it reaches you, it's peer-reviewed by two advisers, a quality control step that catches assumptions and tests the strategy against your goals. No single set of eyes signs off on your financial future.
3
You meet your delivery team Once your plan is approved, you're introduced to the three people who'll look after you: your Financial Adviser, your Implementation Officer and your Review Officer. Strategy, execution and ongoing oversight are handled by different specialists and you'll always know who to call for what.
4
We stay with you as life changes Your first formal review is at the 12-month mark, but your adviser is available whenever a real decision surfaces: a promotion, a redundancy, an inheritance, an investment opportunity, a change of career, a marriage or separation. Our 95% client retention rate is what a long-term advice relationship actually looks like, which is a plan that grows with you, not one that sits in a drawer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Every step of our advice process, from the initial discovery session to plan implementation and ongoing reviews, is delivered through secure video meetings, an encrypted client portal and phone contact. Our clients in Adelaide receive the same service, from the same advisers, as clients who visit us in person.

Our fees are the same for every client, regardless of location. Your initial Discovery Session is on us, a no-obligation conversation where we get to know your goals and current financial position. If it looks like a good fit and you’d like to move forward, we’ll provide a full, itemised fee quote in that meeting so you know exactly what’s involved before you commit to anything.

From there, our fee structure is straightforward. The Commitment Fee (which covers initial strategy development) ranges from $354 to $990. Implementation Fees start at $2,800 per person. Ongoing service starts at $250 per month. No surprises, no hidden costs.

Yes. My Wealth Solutions is a Corporate Authorised Representative (CAR 414145) of GPS Wealth Ltd, which holds Australian Financial Services Licence 254544. This licence authorises us to provide financial advice to clients across Australia, including in South Australia.

Scale and specialisation. Our national team includes advisers who focus specifically on SMSF property investing, business advisory (through My Wealth Private), mortgage broking (through our in-house brand Borro™), private wealth advisory and complex tax structuring. Rather than one adviser trying to cover every area, Adelaide clients access the specialist who fits the situation, coordinated by a single lead adviser who knows the whole plan.

You call your adviser. Life changes such as promotions, redundancies, new children, new businesses, inheritances, separations, house moves, are exactly what an ongoing advice relationship is for. Your adviser will assess how the change affects your plan and adjust the strategy accordingly. This is included in your ongoing service fee, not billed separately every time.
