Catherine is as our Operations Manager, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience to assist in guiding our team in all aspects of the business.

Catherine has been in the Finance Industry for over 9 years, working predominantly in Life Insurance. Gaining experience in sales, quality and coaching, operations and people management. She has Diplomas in Financial Planning, Counselling and Graphic Design.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, taking her niece and nephew on adventures, trying out new places around Brisbane and testing her knowledge at pub trivia. And, she once shaved her head for World’s Greatest Shave.

What’s your favourite thing about being part of the MWS team?

I have two, the people and culture is second to none and their vision for the future of financial advice really aligns with my values and what I seek out in a company.
What do you wish people knew about financial planning?

That you can start the education process at any stage, the more informed you are the better off you will be.
If you could give one piece of advice to yourself from 10 years ago, what would it be?

I would tell myself…girl, start saving.
What's your weirdest office habit?

Luckily the team haven’t witnessed it yet, but I’ve been known to randomly break out in song.
