Sam graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2020 with Distinction, majoring in Finance and Management.  More recently, she has completed her Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan in 2023 and have recently completed her Professional Year.

Outside of work, Sam loves to cook and keep active! On weekends you can find her outdoors whether that’s heading to the beach or farmers markets, or spending time with friends and family.

  • What’s your favourite thing about being part of the MWS team?

    Everyone is very easy going, ambitious and hard working. It is a great environment to be around and I love being a part of the team! 

  • What do you wish people knew about financial planning?

    So many people wait too long to start thinking about their future.

    They fear they don’t have enough money to start investing and can only start ‘when I have x amount of money’.

    But little do they realise even the smallest contribution can make the biggest difference 20 years from now.

    You don’t have to wait for ‘when’ and start now!

  • If you could give one piece of advice to yourself from 10 years ago, what would it be?

    Stop underestimating yourself and be more confident in yourself and what you can achieve. 

  • What's your weirdest office habit?

    Probably that I am constantly snacking on something all day every day.
